Designed for the Metaproject 03 competition at RIT, Blockitecture secured first place, leading to its subsequent manufacturing and sale by Areaware. Inspired by modern architecture, Blockitecture incorporates motifs of counterbalancing and cantilevering structures. The hexagonal building blocks nest together to create various habitat formations. Blockitecture aims to foster children's understanding of geometry and physics while empowering them with the realization that the architecture we inhabit can be created by anyone.
